There is a pattern emerging that warrants our attention. Especially for businesses.
First American military and diplomatic mail were published on Wikileaks, then National Security files were leaked to the British Guardian newspaper, next Democrat National Committee and John Podesta’s email (major Democrat operative) were published on Wikileaks and most recently the CIA clandestine cyber section’s files for 4 years are published. The actual hacking tools are in the possession of Wikileaks but not published.
Countless corporate files have been stolen and sold including very large data bases held by Sony Pictures and Yahoo.
This tells us two things:
- With nearly all material created and stored in digital files which can be put on a thumb drive in astronomic volumes and
- can also be circulated to everywhere in the world via public fiber optic lines in moments
No secret flies or data at secret agencies or their operations can be kept secret for long.
This is particularly true in the United States where citizens are groomed to be defiant and being anti-American is regularly worn as a badge of honor. This was exemplified by many Democrat mayors of American cities when protesters and homeless were encouraged to camp for months in vital public landscapes to object to market generated income distribution (‘Occupy Wall Street’).
The same is true of anti-corporate ideology that is a core teaching at nearly every academic institution in the country and in every niche of the public and entertainment media.
America is also where an anti-American, racist, venal half black man was elected president in two elections.
Combine these new technologies with a pervasive corporate hostility and American self-hatred as a national value, the idea of any kind of secrets is long gone.
