I struggle to communicate my ideas. People usually close their ears the minute I try to offer anything new about commerce, human sexuality or street people, areas where I have years of experience.
So please excuse me as I try to refine my material in old age.
Street people don’t want to join our society. No matter how compassionate the society, such as Japan and Israel, there is a group of people who don’t want to join society and are willing to live under nearly any circumstances to avoid joining society.
Who else fits that definition? Native Americans (and native Canadians and the Ainu in Japan).
So what do we do with Native Americans? We acknowledge their unwillingness to join our society and give them their own land to live on. Far away. So we can’t see their living conditions. Recently many American states have given Native Americans the right to open gambling casinos. Which is a great source of wealth. But it hasn’t changed tribal living conditions much.
Can’t we use our long history of government failure in getting Native Americans to join our society and apply it to street people?
The answer should be ‘Yes’ for the few people who have open minds and can think about this.
