The fact that Microsoft is specifically screwing me is of little consequence in the world.
I have an old Microsoft operating system, XP, which is stable and well designed. Microsoft is no longer supporting XP which means a video program I was just given for business doesn’t work.
To call a program that is 6 years old ‘old’ is absurd.
I’ll find a solution.
But the relevance to me and others as investors is that the Microsoft strategy of being a monopoly in the corporate market won’t be working for long. Microsoft already missed the new emerging computer market which is on our smartphone. There is no catching up there.
It won’t be long before the Android operating system that is on most phones will find a way to connect the cloud world and the right functions on some form of laptop to challenge Microsoft.
The challenge may not come from Google. Google has played the political card 100% for the corrupt Democrat party. That could come back to bite them. Another company could use Android to compete with Microsoft.
