The tribal world has a magnetic hold on most people. It provides a lifetime of certainty, stability, a loving and supportive family network and a comprehensive worldview that has evolved over millennia to fit the human psyche.
The commercial world is difficult because it lacks exactly what the tribal world offers. It is made up of very diverse peoples who interact on an impersonal transactional basis. Networks of support are weak and improvisational. Laziness and incompetence are penalized.
What the commercial world does offer is ephemeral and transient. Meritocracy and individual authenticity are rewarded. It also rewards hard work and offers extraordinary rewards in the form of pleasures. In the commercial world each individual can flourish to their full extent.
A person immersed in the commercial world can pursue arts, dance, science, technology and any other positive human attribute.
That is why people come to U.S.America from Latin America.
The tragedy, worldwide, is that tribal people get to vote for government in their new commercial world. They invariably vote for the Leftist parties that promise the outmoded and inappropriate tribal values that they left behind.
They kill the golden goose because they think they can make their chickens lay golden eggs in a commercial world.
