A few days ago I saw an article that described a significant and reliable research project that had been carried out in Kenya. Over a three-year period, men had been divided into two groups of three thousand each: one group was circumcised as adults, the other was the control group. The intention was to test the medical success of circumcision on mature males in repelling HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. We all know the outcome. Circumcision is effective at repelling STDs.
What was interesting about this research is that it asked the men who had been circumcised whether they had detected an increase or a decrease or no change in the sexual sensitivity of their penis. It also asked about any changes in sexual activity.
This is the first study I have ever heard about that is scientific in its use of adult males to measure the issue of sensitivity post-circumcision. The results were overwhelming: that men found circumcision increased their sexual sensitivity as well as increased their level of sexual activity.
I frankly don't care what the anti-circumcision people say or believe they are flat out anti-semites (Jew and Muslim haters). It is nice to know that finally some scientific research has been done to find out the facts.
I have only one reference that I can find on Google or Bing and it only mentions a similar study in the middle of the article without an actual reference. If anybody can find an actual reference to the Kenyan study please let me know.
