The Internet archives have been storing copies of everything on the World Wide Web since roughly 1996. They have added millions of books, symphonies, TV news programs, and the entire culture of Bali. This is all open to the public. An historic accomplishment that makes the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian look less than adequate.
The genius behind this, a man to whom we all should be grateful, is Brewster Kahle.
Thank you Brewster.
