I propose to the new, hopefully Republican Tea Party Congress, that it is time to create a specific Memorial Day to honor all the individuals who have been killed in the last century by socialism.
My reason is simple: it is time to make the American public and other people in the world aware that socialism is a synonym for killing citizens.
It is worth debating the fact that Nazism was a National Socialist movement. That starts off with 40 million people killed. Next are the Soviet Union and China and the numbers are very loose ranging from 40,000,000 to 80,000,000. There are many more to throw in and they would always be interesting to debate about.
Isn't it time to make Americans and the world aware of the historic consequences of our experimentation with strong centralized government?
We need a Memorial Day to remember and honor the tens of millions killed by socialism
