Are you buying cut flowers or greenhouse potted plants?

You may be one of the worst offenders against the environmental fiction of global warming due to human produced CO2.

The reason is simple and straightforward.

Most cut flowers and a high percentage of potted plants are grown in greenhouses.

Near me, in San Francisco, the town of Half Moon Bay is filled with greenhouses. I mean filled. Hundreds of acres.  Half Moon Bay is foggy much of the time but ultraviolet light comes through the clouds

It is very common in greenhouses to turn on a few tanks of CO2. I wish to remind environmental friends that plants thrive on CO2. Because the greenhouse is a somewhat closed facility it is feasible to release CO2 into the air to increase its concentration above the natural .04%. That is 4 100ths of 1%. Smaller than your smallest toenail relative to your whole body.

People who grow pot use very high concentrations of CO2. If you smoke dope, actually high quality dope, you are encouraging very high releases of CO2.
