Poor seldom win

There was a recent court ruling overturning Obama that said the Dept.of Education could not punish for-profit colleges based on the success or failure of their student loan rate post-college collection.

The federal agency attacking the for-profit colleges was being manipulated by the incredibly wealthy private elite colleges in order to reduce competition from the emerging industry of for-profit colleges.

This was a Democratic administration doing what it often does, unwittingly punishing the poor. For-profit colleges are the primary source of technical education and subsequent jobs for the bottom social class in our country.

In calculating the failure rate of the student loan collections, the federal agencies involved, only compared gross numbers, they did not compare private college student loan rate failures for low income students to the comparable loan rates at for-profit schools.

Once again, despite a Democratic onslaught, the poor have survived.
