What does a business do when the public uses two phrases to describe the product?
The example I am using is the ping-pong table. The term ping-pong is used world over.
Yet, since there is a slight diminutive sound to this phrase because professional ping-pong organizations call themselves table tennis associations. The manufacturers and sellers of ping-pong tables must call their product by both names.
You will find the product under both names if you Google it or if you go into a sporting goods store.
