This is simply a fact visible in the data. Deny it and live in a fantasy world.
The number of minimum wage jobs in 2006 was compared to those in 2010 with Labor Department data. Total number of people in the labor force was also compared.
Put the two numbers together and you find that raising the minimum wage, done by the Democratic Congress, and you find 42% of all jobs lost were because of the minimum wage.
Need I suggest that these people driven out of the workforce are mostly young and nearly all are black and Latino?
