Commerce,
in its autonomous, pragmatic way is far superior to anything 'international' that was planned,
or deliberately created by ideologs or State Departments.
Think
of the dysfunctional global organizations. We have the 
Jew-hating UN, the incompetent UNESCO, the pathetic problem
creator called the High Commissioner for Refugees, the always wrong WHO
and the International Court of toothless, always useless Judicial
absurdity.
Compare
these to the international commercial structures that work beautifully.
The international credit card processing entities, the international
airline and airport operations, international telephone long distance
and the Internet. There are many others from accounting to equity
markets, but the list too long to put in a small blog.No comparison. Commerce does ‘International’ right. Governments barely do it at all.
