What actors think

Like many people I am occasionally baffled by the utter preposterousness of Hollywood actors and assorted Hollywood denizens as they proclaim their politics on the world stage.

One of the weirdest is Sean Penn who champions demons like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.  His most outrageous act was a visit to Saddam Hussein shortly before American forces invaded the second time. 

Sean Penn was singing the praises of Saddam at the same time, we now know, Saddam was putting his enemies into wood chippers at many of his 50 palaces.

I think I have an explanation for this weirdness. Actors, like Sean Penn, think that tyrants are just acting their parts.

Most actors and their peers just don't live in a real world.
