Jews were consigned to this low cast by the Catholic Church as a punishment for not converting to Christianity 1,000 years ago.
Last week, the members of Congress and the Harvard Law president poured opprobrium on business executives as they have been doing for the past 18 months.
While the suppression and disdain is not universal and not total in the United States and the business class has moved up in much of the world it is only 'moving up' from a very low position.
The business class has created the modern world, our great health and long lives, our excitement, our vitality and most importantly our options for a full and meaningful existence.
The business class should be our top class. (Not the vapid MBA's*). Successful entrepreneurs should be more popular than rock stars, more trusted than academics and more powerful than Congressional Committee chairmen and ambitious District Attorneys.
Time to invert the social pyramid.
