Trees and grass

Sometimes metaphors work. I have a biological metaphor that seems to help Lefty Fundamentalists and their hangers-on to understand why we have big companies and global giants.

Think about the vast numbers of single blades of grass we have.  Think about the few shrubs and bushes we have.  Think about the fewer ordinary trees.  Think about the rarity of giant trees.

That is the distribution of sole proprietors, small shops, retail stores, chains, large companies and giant global companies.  It is a natural biological order.

Biology is good.  Now you can see why commerce is good too.
