What might happen, is happening

A short while back I wrote a blog on the way the Left has developed a new political platform designed to make all Goody-goodies happy and force the rest of us to conform to Goody-goodie standards.

My good friend Alex G. has suggested that as this increasingly becomes the way Lefty local governments behave, there will be a counter trend that will segregate our society.

Brilliant Alex.  Now that you suggest it I realize it is already happening. 

In San Francisco we have driven out hundreds of businesses for many reasons so that a major part of San Francisco talent is now in the less Lefty surrounding suburbs. We are already segregating. 

Smokers, workers who don't want government health insurance, workers who don't want to be run by unions, small business owners and start-ups of all sorts that want to avoid S.F.'s onerous regulations and taxes and families who hate politicized racist schools have all moved to Brisbane, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Orinda and Daly City. All these suburbs are becoming more Conservative and Independent and much less Democrat.

The process of social segregation of Goody-goodies away from freedom-loving citizens is already underway.

We could close the barn door after most of the horses have escaped. For example: in Los Angeles the mayor has just appointed Austin Beutner, a venture capitalist, to fix the city so the many businesses that have left the Iron fist of Lefty government will want to come back.  In LA, there are many small towns nestled in the sprawling tentacles of LA City so you can easily move one block and be out of LA Lefty reach.

Segregation is happening... it is not racial it is political and moral.
