Back in the Xmas season I took this photo and meant to
write a blog about it. Sorry about the delay.
On the main intersection in the Castro District, 18th and Castro, there was mistletoe hung over the corners. You can barely see it hanging just above the 24 on the bus destination panel.
The significance I see is that this neighborhood is very friendly and celebrates the holiday season with inter-personal and impersonal affection.
Great neighborhood and getting better with the new Frances restaurant and Trader Joe's next year.
