Two
articles I recommend. The first tells what the Japanese have on video.
The anti-whaling ship Ady Gil, belonging to the Sea Shepard/Greenpeace
organization deliberately cut across the bow of the Japanese patrol
ship, Shonan Maru, which is protecting the Japaneses whaling fleet. The
anti-whalers lost their bow and probably their ship. Risking lives to
make a point in the very dangerous Antarctic waters is foolish.
The second is Michael Kinsley arguing that newspapers are losing readers because they are too verbose and too politically biased. I'm with Kinsley... I'm never journalistic in my writing. Many readers complain that I am too telegraphic to be fun reading.
