The Japanese election and the election of Barack Obama were voter reactions in seriously deteriorating national conditions where voters only had one choice: for or against the incumbent (yes, that is one choice not two.)
That is not the case in Germany where voters had two ways to vote against the incumbency: a left for or against and a free market for or against. Germans chose the free market against. Angela Merkel has already said she will reduce taxes, reduce the power of labor and open up the German economy with less regulation.
Now tell me: is Europe really so enamoured with the Lefty politics that our president thinks he needs to bring to America?
