I find it interesting that the best accepted definition of a good theory is that it is falsifiable.
There is a weaker alternative definition of a good theory: 'does new technology support the theory?'
The reason this alternative is viable is evident in two technologies that developed long after Darwin had died.
*Second, and most important, DNA analysis has shown that the clades developed to show evolutionary pathways have been closely matched in the evolutionary paths constructed from DNA.
We have post Darwinian support from new technologies that came a century after Darwin.
Of course, I have to mention that new technologies (satellites and ocean buoys) contradict the Hansen theory of human caused global warming.
