At the beginning of the Obama campaign, Mrs' Obama's Princeton
undergraduate thesis was put off-limits by Princeton. Stupid thing to
do because, with the Internet, it was bound to become public knowledge.
Putting the thesis off-limits has led to efforts to demonize it. However, you can read the Internet published thesis yourself. Go to part 3 page 51 where the summary begins.
This thesis is the work of a very smart competent and honest sociology undergraduate. There is nothing scurrilous, ideological nor racist about it.
It is good academic work and it shows that Mrs Obama has the ability to think clearly and change her mind when confronted with empirical data (the thesis is based on a survey of Princeton black alumni).
