A
recent discussion reminded me that bad management and poor supervision
have a direct cost.
A friend was describing his work environment where there are several indecisive managers and a supervisor who is never clear about his needs and intentions. My friend, who is highly competent, quickly got out of the department where he was productive and badly needed. He has been working as a contract employee and is only willing to go back to the company at a higher pay level.
That is a clear cost of poor management.
