I think there is an experiential way to fix Lefties, at least those few with an open mind.
In the third lesson, the Lefty goes to a city in a third world country where the Lefty hasn't had a bowel movement in three days and has become desperate when the need for a toilet finally arises.
There is no Starbucks or MacDonald's around with the standard and
ubiquitous clean public bathroom. Now is the time to appreciate global
commerce.
While our student is in a personally desperate situation, this is a good time to remind the Lefty that WalMart, Home Depot, CostCo, Target and Ikea save the average low income family thousands of dollars a year.
Those are thousands of dollars of real effective increase in a family's living standard.
