Since the Wall Street Journal got a face
lift and some new vitality in January there has been a column called
The Informed Reader. The new column summarizes interesting print
writing of the day. The next two blogs are based on material from The
Informed Reader.
I also go to Slate.com to read the summary of the major weekly magazines. The rest of Slate is largely uninteresting to me.
Both the Slate and WSJ summaries are valuable. When are more dailies going to get into the business of summarizing other less frequent material? Hey folks, its a reader magnet.
