because of a song, Push the Button, about the threat to Jewish
survival. Hear the song here, its a great song.
You can get a good sense of why Europe hardly cared about the loss of a comparable number of Jews half a century ago. Nearly all of Europe did its part in the past to wipe out the Jews, nothing has changed. Europe still doesn't care about Jews being killed. It never will.
All you artists out there who think art has a meaningful positive role in the world will have to wonder why the most popular song in Israel, about existential survival, is treated as "political" by the very people who have a history of acting just like Amadinejad. Europeans would just rather see Jews die than consider their own role as accomplices to murder.
