I haven't seen the data but there appears to be an increase in the number of cases of Attention Deficit Disorder, asthma and allergies. (NIH data shows lower rates of each of these last two for people over 45 and even lower for people over 65.)
Could this be the unintended consequence of getting lead out of paint and gasoline, mercury out of everything and strapping children into car seats from the moment they are born? Maybe unintended.
Humor me. I'm just asking about unintended consequences.
