I didn’t know the statistics until I saw them in an article by Mark Steyn in the January New Criterion. The blue states include 16 of the 16 states with the lowest population growth rates, the red states include 25 of the 26 states with the highest population growth.
Previously, I had been comforted by the David Brooks data that the highest population growth is in the fifth ring of suburbs, which are all red, vital, prosperous, hard working and optimistic. We are in for a long period of pro-American sentiment in America.
