My San Francisco is a living example that Lefty Fundamentalists hate commerce and are heartless when it comes to the consequences of their malice.
Hatred of commerce has made certain that most successful and popular chain stores can’t open stand-alone stores in San Francisco and often great ones like Prada are chased away. Our high-end downtown is dead and now our Stonestown shopping center is doomed.
Less than a mile from Stonestown shopping center, in Westlake (just across the county line), we are getting a Home Depot and a dozen new popular chains. Westlake already has a Trader Joes and a large Cost Plus; both retailers have been poorly treated by San Francisco. Home Depot has now become the anchor store for retail growth in many parts of the U.S.
So, shoppers, retailers and employees at Stonestown will be punished by Lefty Fundamentalism because a better suburban shopping mall is opening a mile away across the political boundary from arrogant, boorish, selfish Lefty Fundamentalism.
