the King James has “thy house” rather than “your household” but the difference is insignificant.
This means you can take your possessions with
you. This comes from the mouth of Saint Paul.
Why not? Any theology, worth its salt, can accomodate the needs of the times. If you can conceive of an afterlife, why can't you have your possessions with you?
