Every era has its esthetics. It is the most defining element of time. You know you are in 1937 from the design of the cars. You know you are in 2000 from the reception space of a Marriott Hotel.
Public objects and public spaces define the esthetic of the time and place. Today, restaurants tend to be the leading edge of esthetics.

Google is a clean bright calm space. The feeling is information under control, relaxed and casual. It is an environment that is serious but thoughtful. Brash is out, reasoned is in.
Do you see the change?
