The composition of Congress is pretty much conservative Republican for the next three elections, thanks to the California Lefties. How’s that?
The House and Senate are pretty will fixed. The Senate is drawn from 26 red states meaning fifty-two red senators, with a maximum of 5 senators who can change at any time. The House is perfectly gerrymandered for a conservative Republican majority until the 2012 Census results in demographic changes.
The only chance to change that structure was the California initiative on re-apportionment that was defeated by Lefties last week. That is the second defeat for re-apportionment reform, Colorado was the first. So there will be no Congressional re-apportionment; conservative Republicans get full control and a free ride.
The government we have now will be in power in Congress for six more years. That is the end of politics for a long time. Talk to me again in 2011.
