I am one for experience and data... so you know that I am not Lefty, I rely on both. My experience in building a park for Street people gave me the experience to know that very few homeless people in 1980 ever served in the military.
Recently, I made many visits to my local VA, Veterans medical center that has a shuttle service directly from the most dense homeless section of the city. I know my sample is good. The photo on the upper right is a standard clinic waiting area.
I have counted nearly 1000 patients, not even six could be considered homeless. That is less than 1% of a veteran population dating back to the Korean war 60 years ago. Add to that, San Francisco has the most dense homeless population in America.
Homelessness among veterans is a Lefty anti-war anti-American fantasy.
