Trash the New Republic

In case you haven't been following the New Republic scandal, a good report is here.

In simple terms, the New Republic ran an op-ed piece by a soldier in Iraq (Scott Thomas Beauchamp) who is married to a staffer at the New Republic.  The op-ed was a mean-spirited, totally dishonest fabrication about badly behaving soldiers. When the Army investigated the entire article was found to be a lie. 

The New Republic, blinded by Lefty ideology, internal dishonesty, journalist arrogance and incestual nepotism....has never apologized to its readers....they just keep on lying and covering up.

Postscript: Today's Wall Street Journal (10/27) has Peggy Noonan with a superb attack on the New Republic scandal and closes with: (the editors should)" ... have looked at the half-baked, overcooked junior Hemingway of Scott Thomas Beauchamp and said, "That sounds like a buncha hooey."
